Just your traditional bagel and cream cheese combo, toasted or untoasted. The key is in the brands you buy, you can get the same great flavor for a lot less calories and sodium if you are selective. In this example, we use a bagel thin and a reduced fat, whipped cream cheese.

(2 tbsp) (30 ml) Weight Watchers Cream Cheese Spread Reduced Fat Whipped (x 1)

Breakfast Veggie Pattie

Place frozen pattie on a microwave safe plate. Microwave on HIGH,turning over halfway through cooking time. Approximatly 1 1/2 minutes.

Heat nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place whole wheat tortilla in pan. Cover one half with light cheese blend. Fold in half and press down lightly. When cheese is melted and bottom is lightly browned flip over. When other side is lightly browned remove from heat. Cut into slices and service with 1 tablespoon of sour cream (optional).

Mozzarella Cheese and Tomato

Take 2 slices of tomato and 2 slices of mozzarella cheese and layer on a plate. Top with chopped basil. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinagar.

One Leaf Fresh Basil (x 4)
(1 tbsp) (15 ml) Olive Oil (x 0.33)
(1 oz) (28 g) Balsamic Vinegar (x 1)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, mustard, lemon juice, garlic, and parsley. When the butter melts completely, remove from heat. Arrange shrimp in a shallow baking dish. Pour the butter mixture over the shrimp.
Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

3 Ounce Shrimp (x 1)
(2 tsp) (10 ml) Butter (x 1)
(.2 oz) (5 g) Mustard; Dijon (x 1)
(1 tbsp) (6 g) Lemon Peel (x 0.5)
(1 tsp) (2.8 g) Garlic (x 0.5)
(1 tsp) (0.3 g) Parsley, Dried (x 0.5)

Instant Brown Rice

Combine rice, water and butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. reduce heat (medium-low to medium) and cover. Simmer 10-12 minutes or until water is absorbed. Fluff with fork and serve.
